About Us
History
The United African Coalition, UNAC is a political institution serving as the umbrella
organization representing the electoral interest of the 5 million continental Africans in the
United States. Since its founding in 2013, UNAC continues to educate its constituents on the
importance of civic engagement to ensure their voices are heard and to make sure they vote.
Our Mission
To ensure that the African immigrant community, the fastest growing and most
educated immigrant population in the United States is well represented in electoral politics
and by voting on legislative policies that serve their needs and protect their collective
interest.
Our Vision
To identify, groom and procure funding and other resources necessary to help elect
candidates — preferably foreign born Africans or their first generation-American-born — into
public office.
